1949 was the year that changed Tibet forever. Tibetan cultural heritage was seriously affected in the aftermath of the Chinese Cultural Revolution. We want to recreate what it lost. Our organisation, under the patronage of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, wishes to raise awareness and illustrate the effort being made to restore and preserve Tibetan culture.Tibet Foundation is a registered charity, founded in 1985, which works towards creating greater awareness of all aspects of Tibetan culture and the needs of the Tibetan people
